Domaine Schneider – David Schneider Vigneron

An independent winemaker, organic wines, a small family business in the very pretty village of Gertwiller, 20 minutes from Rossfeld!

Gertwiller is famous for its gingerbread (Fortwenger and Lips a stone’s throw away) but we also invite you to discover the wines of David Schneider, a young independent winemaker. For three generations, this small vineyard of a few hectares that produces a wine of very good quality is managed as a family. David and his mother Marie-Joëlle will warmly welcome you to discover the history of their estate and of course their wines. A la carte all the essential Alsatian wines: Sylvaner, Riesling, Pinot blanc, Pinot gris, Pinot noir, Muscat, Gewurztraminer and special cuvées. All certified in organic farming since 2021. A human-sized domain as we love them and which makes the richness of Alsace!

Without appointment: Free tasting and sale at the caveau, from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm/ Sundays and holidays from 10am to 12pm (with a gift offered from 36€ purchase). Note: David and Marie-Joëlle try to keep the hours of the cellar but working in the vineyard sometimes requires an increased presence >> a small call (see numbers below) will avoid any closed door.
On reservation: visit of the estate and gourmet tasting of wines of the estate accompanied by cheeses and charcuteries of Alsace (fruit juice for children), duration about 2h, for 2 to 10 people >> We allow you to benefit from a special offer only on presentation of the flyer available at the Séchoir du Ried: 14,40€ / person (instead of 16€), 9€ / person from 8 to 18 years, free under 8 years.

The Gaïa Gardens have been pioneers for more than 20 years and tea and infusions organic and fair trade upscale. They offer more than 500 teas, rooibos and herbal teas and flavored by their care in Alsace, as well as a wide range of accessories, dishes and spices.
After or before your shopping, take the time to drink a tea in the Tea House, a real little Zen setting, with its terrace and its water nested in the heart of a beautiful Asian garden.
